Wow!

Lori posted this guy the other day and I just couldn't resist! He is hilarious and in my mind has a little too much time on his hands. Don't know about you, but I am going out and buying some of my very own brocolli today!

Happy birthday to me

WHAT A GREAT BIRTHDAY TODAY WAS! My honey made me breakfast in bed, then the fun part started...okay, so it started out with Brock pooping his pants (sorry-TMI) cause he had diarrhea. He had another few episodes after that...poor thing! I was able to go shopping for hours and hours (2 hrs) and then when Ty got home, he gave me this...
I was so excited we will be going on a cruise! Last time we didn't get to see the Mayan ruins when we embarked in Cozumel so we will get to see some sites from the Book of Mormon this time. I know, I know...we just went on one 6 mos ago, but gimme a break. I had a broken foot and to wear a blue smurf boot everytime I wanted to be near the water. This time will be without kids and I will be able to walk! YAE!!!
Then we ate at Macaroni Grill. Yes, I love Macaroni Grill...their rosemary bread that you pull apart and dip into this savory oil/vinegar dip just makes my mouth water every time! YUM!

About a month ago, we went to the Heard Museum and had lunch, then a "hike" along the dino path. You can tell Trey was a little scared of the "Dinosaurs Alive" because he wouldn't let go of me for the first little while but then he warmed up enough to the creatures to take a pic in front of the scariest one of all...T-REX

Thanks to Steph, we got pictures of these little monkeys having fun. Here is Trey, Locke, Brock, and sweet lil Breckyn.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Just wanted to shout out a big "Happy Birthday" to my Mom who turned 60 today! Hope she doesn't mind me telling you all reading this her age....oops!

So, for her birthday we went to breakfast at The Original Pancake House (so good! Their banana pancakes rock the Hayouse!). Then, we shopped for a while before getting Brock from school. She got some outfits she looks HOT in! Whew! We are gonna try to make a movie, "Definately, Maybe" in the next few days. Anyone seen that one? Is it good?

She is such a great support to me in my life. She has the best personality and sweetest heart. She is beautiful in every way and I am so proud to say she is my mother! LOVE YOU MOM!

The Office

Does it seem like a year since there has been a new episode of "The Office"? Why do I miss this show so much?! I think it makes me feel better about my quirks and I LOVE the sense of humor they all have. I always get embarrassed for Michael (Steve Carrell) when he does dumb things but really that is what makes it priceless! I can see myself in Pam since I used to work as an admin for this jokester for a few years before we had kids. Working with a funny boss kinda lightened up the work day for me! He was such a slacker but so fun to work with.

So, Barbie bought me a notepad with Jim's face that says "I Love Jim" and a pen with Dwight's pic on it that said "Dunder Mifflin"...now THAT's a good friend:)

Anyway, I would be interested to hear who else is an Office fan. P.S. There are episodes I don't watch - can get racey sometimes but when it isn't it is HILARIOUS!

YAE! I'm Private

We were talking about this today...most blogs show "we are perfect" but we all know in my case that is NOT true! We try though, right? I love all you friends out there that accept me no matter what. (who knows...maybe I will post a pic or 2 of my messy home...but probly not:)

Luck O' The Irish

Friday was seriously a crazy day. First of all, we watched these episodes of Dora and Backyardigans that both had to do with rainbows. We ate lucky charms for breakfast, then we took a trip to the park and as we were walking along a little pond, I found some patches of clovers...not thinking much of it, I decided to look for one with 4 leaves. Part Irish myself, I have been searching for one my whole life. LOW AND BEHOLD I found not 1, but 2 in one day! So we are hoping for good luck! I checked online to be sure they were really clovers and not weeds and it looks as though they are both genuine 4 leaf clovers! I know, I know...sounds crazy! One is probly just a weed but I am positive on the other one!
Does anyone know anything about that sort of thing? How should I preserve them, etc? Crazy thing is it was LEAP DAY too! YAE! Happy St. Patty's to me!
