Lil' Trips

This summer has been filled with small trips to various places...
A couple weekends ago we made our way to Atlanta and saw a Braves game. The boys had the a great time! On our way back to Prattville, we stopped by Callaway Gardens, a beautiful place in the mountains (for Georgia, they are mountains:) with recreational activities, a circus, lakes, paddle boats, slides, biking trails, flower gardens, and a butterfly house. We hope to be able to spend more time there the next time we go, since there is so much to do.

Happy Birthday Trey Braden!

Our little man is turning 3 in the morning. I am up tonight thinking about how blessed I am to have him in our family. There is something so special about Trey. Since before he was born, he was independent and had his own way of doing things. He wanted to come when I was only 32 weeks along...bed rest for 5 weeks fixed that:) When he arrived, his big brother was the happiest little guy I had ever seen! They have been best friends ever since. He is the best big and little brother you could ask for. Anyone who knows Trey describes him as "sweet". A good friend of mine described him to me the other day as "content". Everyday I say, "Trey, guess what I need?!" He then jumps into my arms and gives me the biggest hug. Trey is most likely going to be the smallest of his brothers :) but he is gonna be quick and his heart will always be big!
We are so blessed as a family to have his spirit in our home and I have no doubt he will continue to grow and be someone very special! Happy Birthday Trey Bray! I LOVE YOU funny kid!

Fourth of July

Barbie, Chad, Collin, and Connor drove over 10 hours to see us over the weekend. We had a really good time with them! We went swimming with the kids, ate lots of yummy food, celebrated Ty and Barbie's birthday (7/3), and went to our little town's cute Independence Day celebration. Here are some pics:

(I won't mention their age, but Ty is a few years older;). We ate chocolate cake with blue AND pink sprinkles. We played lots and lots of Rockband, too! (We let them win)

Kade's First Independence Day!

Don't worry...I'm NOT trying to make him a girl, but he would be so pretty. j/k They threw tons of these necklaces along with candy at the parade. I wish I had more pics of the cute little town parade, but Barbie has it on her camera (since I forgot mine). The fireworks show was one of the biggest I have seen, with 3 grand finales...that was a nice surprise!

Father's Day

Father's Day was nice. We made Ty his favorite cake (chocolate with chocolate chips and chocolate frosting!) He is such a good daddy and our sons love him sooooo much!

Sweet Reunion

I think the happiest thing since Christmas was when we found Trey's bear! The movers packed it since I left it out on his bed by accident. He was very pleased to see his lil' sleep buddy again!
